Noticed that too. What can I say, I’m one of those old grannies on here. The fact that we actually have a female in active duty military that was pregnant and claims she didn’t know it until she gave birth is, indeed, disturbing and way more important than what branch of the service it was or on what kind of craft - IMO. At least she wasn’t in the Marines!
This must have happened all the time in WWII.
Not good.
What if the vessel was a boomer?
Not good.
5.56mm
US Navy: The Love Boat.
why the hell do we have pregnant women on combat ships in the first place?
Notice the wink at the end .. was just pullin’ yer leg, ma’am .. and you’re right re ‘disturbing’ .. hopefully our new CinC will get alot of that PC nonsense squared away pronto.
Dunno. Captain Robau of the USS Kelvin thought it was okay.
Good question, or:
why the hell do we have pregnant women on combat ships in the first place?
Active Duty ping.
was just pullin yer leg, maam...”
I knew that and thought it was pretty funny. Apparently we have some on FR though who take offense at lots of stuff though. Got to cut some of us non-PC’ers and old folks a bit of slack on here though. Maybe that gal that had the baby and didn’t know she was pregnant is also a blond. LOL
There must have been a lot of ...seamen...on that ship.
Perhaps it’s an Obama Liberal Cruise Ship? How many bars and dance floors does the carrier have and how many comedy shows each night?
Next thing we know, medics in the field will be required to have birthing classes?
Sounds like a Saturday Night Live skit, ya think?
Any Blame goes to DACOWIS (http://dacowits.defense.gov/About/) “Defense Advisory Committee on Women in the Services.”
That little girl is going to have a L - O - N - G LIST OF UNCLES and due to DACOWITS, AUUNTS (the entire crew)..
That will make for one heck of a Baby-Photo and a shocking story to tell or write down when she's asked “Where were you born?."
Same thing happened under President Reagan on board the USS Samuel Gompers. I don’t want to post more here, but if anyone wants details, send me a private message and I will provide the approximate date, name and rank of the mother, and where the ship was when she gave birth.
Not even obesity is an excuse as she damn sure knew she had no periods.
She is lying as every woman knows ask one.
