A rant on Windows 10.
First some websites would not display. Page cannot be display type message. All 3 web browsers and on my desktop and laptop. Both had Windows 10. One used network cable and another wifi. Could get the websites using my cellphone using the T-Mobile data. One site was tvguide.com
It was not my cable modem or router. I have 2 routers I tried and even bought another cable modem and still the issue came up. Either no internet or some sites not loading.
Eventually fixed by luck and reinstalling Windows but.....
While working on that fun project another problem came up on Windows 10 where left clicking the start button or a program button on the taskbar would not work. This issue can also affect your wifi connection.
There is no fix for this. None. You will find suggestions and some may work though none did for me. Microsoft even has a script they have you download. NADA it does not work. You can download the free Classic Shell Start Button which fixes the issue of the start button but not the right clicking.
The last suggestion from Microsoft and others is to do a refresh which reinstalls Windows but all your applications are removed..... so you get to spend much time reinstalling them.
BTW it does not work!. I even went so far to format the hard drive and do a clean install of Windows 10. This worked for a while. I had this problem 3 times these past 2 days. I became an expert in reinstalling!
I have now formatted the drive and installed Windows 7 and am currently reinstalling all my programs and copying my backed up files to the old is new OS.
I used Windows 10 for a few months and modified it enough to like it but these problems that were not an issue in older OS’s are unforgivable. Add spying to the OS as well as a aggravation.
Windows 7 is faster. The themes are not as colorful but I can get 1001 themes at Stardock http://www.stardock.com/products/windowblinds or download many from other sources.

I have a question.
When doing a disk file clean-up, is it safe to empty items such as System error Memory Dump Files, Delivery Optimization Files....
I am not sure what is safe to delete as I have about 1GB in all.
