    I recall when this was first broadcast here in the states back in the early 70's. I was still a kid but I can remember my parents being glued to the TV for each new episode.

    This series and Victory at Sea are a couple of my faves.. graphic, raw, real footage and almost all of it is black and white.

    Watched these over and over again since they came out in the 70s amazing to be able to hear those who lived it including the enemy, like Albert Speer.
Excellent series.

    Yes it is. From the British side till the end of the war. Great stuff with the rise of Hitler, who Stalin was, the Russian German battles on the eastern front. The early part of the Pacific War with Japan.

    There’s a good series on AHC now titled “Nazis, Evolution of Evil”. Goes into depth on Hitler’s early life and rise of the NSDAP (Nazi party). You can see the common threads to today’s Alinskyites.
