As far so I know the navy still can put you on bread and water, that is an attitude changer.
What is this "INSTANT justice" that you speak of? The Navy gave her a slap on the wrist.
She's not getting kicked out. She's not getting keelhauled, court martialed, walking the plank or a dishonorable discharge. I don't even think she went to mast. The Navy just wants the whole thing to go away.
She won.
She will graduate A-School and rotate to her next command.
I feel sorry for her Chief and her LPO. Hope it's not going to be me.
BTW, she's an Aviation Ordnanceman by rating.
If I was her CO, she’d get 30 days assignment to the flag detail—the one that hoists the colors in the morning and performs retreat in the evening. One “no-show” and it then turns into an Article 15.
Same year as Top Gun.
I was thinking the same thing. I’d still flag her records from promotions/schools and bar to re-enlist.
The ironic thing is that this whole controversy was begun by Muslims who sold slaves to the South, still believe in slavery and tirelessly work to undermine America.
CAN ANYONE HEAR ME?
Throw her out with a GD. Theres no reason to have idiots like this in the military
______________
Dishonorable discharge seems more like it.
basically says land of the free, home of the brave, except for hirelings and slaves and I just cant support anything like that,
Everyone has slaves these days, you know. Yes, and hirelings are everywhere. Lousy country; she should try North Korea.
Just the thought of destroyer escorts charging heavy cruisers and battle ships as well as anything in it's path gives me goose bumps.
However, it was the Japanese themselves that first recognized Johnston's incredible actions that day: As a destroyer from the opposing fleet cruised slowly by, Robert Billie and several other crewmen watched as the Japanese captain saluted the sinking Johnston, having considered her an honorable opponent
The Japs didn't give respect very easy.
Let her try Leavenworth...
Nah. A captain's mast (non-judicial punishment) is coming her way. Loss of a stripe and a half month's pay for two months is likely. But if she turns down the mast then she is likely heading for a court martial, given the brazenness of her act.
A captain's mast may hurt one's pride and one's wallet. But it is not a felony. A court martial conviction is a felony and will follow her the rest of her life or until some Democrat pardons her.
Second offense: Court martial and Dishonorable Discharge.
That's being "lenient".
She needs to be made an example of and a BCD will fill the bill.
Aggrieved black woman with attitude.....put some teeth in your belief sister and demand a general court martial!

Why arent these people being court martialed?

...........WRONG COLOR!
Well said, it’s exactly what she should do however most unlikely.
The collective noun is a clue that the author is British. Collective nouns are very annoying to the American eye and ear.
...or, just wrong :)
If she doesn’t respect America we can’t trust her to fight FOR America...Dump her...
