The body of an activist from St. Louis who led protests about the fatal police shooting of Michael Brown in Ferguson, Mo., in 2014 was found with a gunshot wound in the charred remains of a vehicle on Tuesday morning, according to the police and news accounts.
The activist, Darren Seals, 29, was found inside the vehicle on Diamond Drive in Riverview in St. Louis County around 1:50 a.m., the St. Louis County Police Department said in a statement. The vehicle had been on fire and he was found after the flames were extinguished.

According to the Washington Post, Seals was an assembly line worker and hip-hop musician in 2014, when he spent time urging community members to vote against local Democrats.
In recent days, Seals tweeted praise for San Fransisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick, who refused to stand for the national anthem, and criticized the Black Lives Matter movement.

Seriously, though, here’s my theory, based on zero evidence, just speculation.
Maybe he secretly testified against the Hands Up-Don’t Shoot narrative to the Grand Jury, and his subsequent BLM “activism” was just play acting on his part, in order to cover his own butt.
Maybe some witnesses names and testimony have been leaked, and maybe his name was among them.
Michael Brown’s family & lawyers are now demanding access to secret Grand Jury testimony to help in their civil case, and, in defiance of all precedent and common sense, said access is actually being considered.
Lawyers for the defense (Darrin Wilson, the city, et al) argue that release of any such info would lead to exactly this result: dead witnesses.
