A poster on Reddit put it well when he recalled how Jobs extolled the headphone jack on the 3G as being made so well that any headset could use it, only to have fanboys in 2016 swear that headphones are antiques, only in the past 12 hours.
And then it will be called a brilliant move and they will all (deliberately) forget that Apple was first to move and then later claim that Apple was a late follower in this area. I seem to recall this was the same argument when Apple got rid of the QWERTY keyboard on the Smartphone and went to a virtual keyboard. The same voices were making the same idiotic arguments.
