First to offer all wireless keyboards and such? Anyone who had USB ports, since - with standard computers - any Bluetooth/wireless/WIFI keyboard works with that dongle. Apple “built it in” because - like all Apply fanbois demand - it had to look the same.

First wifi printers? Apple can (once again) thank Xerox for inventing that, getting going. But Apple likes to take things from other people

Cutting the cord? You mean the company that builds a “Pro” computer that has essentially ZERO internal expansion? And has consistently eschewed standard sizes and cages and such to force use of their own if it’s internal - but really pushes you to use external (Firewire, Thunderbolt) for all your peripherals...

And we’re talking HEADPHONES you goober - which were wireless WELL before. What does this iPhone bring there, other than FORCING you to use yet-another-adapter OR get wireless headphones?

But you don’t get it, because you simply see them as doing no wrong. You see ZERO good about Androind and have essentially stated as such. You’re as much of a fanboi as can be.

I’m fine living in the PC and Android world - it’s where 90%+ of the world live. Hey guess what - you can design a Mac on Windows; you can’t do it on OSX! Your vaunted Apple gear wouldn’t live without the Windows/PC world.

That’s the fact, jack!

There you go, back into your Android and PC bubble. As a matter of fact, Apple was also the first computer company to standardize on USB ports before others were even much aware of them. PCs had trouble even properly implementing USB for years after. Microsoft just couldn't get it right. You do not even know much about computer history. We are talking about development in 1997, release with the first iMac in August 1998.

Again, you don't know Jack. The WIFI alliance had many sponsors, but prominent among them was APPLE! Xerox was no where to be found in having anything to do with WIFI.

Do you make up your arguments as you go along? Are you drinking?

You don't use any of this stuff you are spouting off about, and you are just demonstrating your total ignorance of it. I DO USE IT, daily. IDIOT. Do you even bother to read what I wrote to you????

Firewire? Thunderbolt? Are you even aware that those are actually industry standard connectors not developed by Apple? Probably not. They are actually superior in their speed and conductibility to what was commonly used by PCs. . . but then YOU DON'T KNOW THAT so you denigrate it because you are IGNORANT of the facts.

"Goober?" I've been working in this industry and owned businesses in this industry for almost 40 years and you call me a "goober." All because you don't like a change in a product you are not going to buy, and don't use, and will never use, and do not like, but are insanely obsessed about it, its users, and the company who makes it, so much so that you invade every thread the people who DO use it and want to discuss it, and bad mouth it, the company, and them.

Did I say that Apple invented wireless headphones? Not on your life. Apple is not "forcing" anyone to use an adaptor, idiot. They are PROVIDING their users with a superior set of earbuds. How is that forcing anyone to do anything????

You are DELUSIONAL if you think that Apple is forcing buyers of Apple's iPhones to do anything! That is the problem with you Apple haters. You think Apple's customers are somehow manipulated by Apple into doing what they want them to do.

You just cannot conceive that Apple customer's, over 800,000,000 of them who have purchased over 1.3 BILLION Apple iOS products over the last NINE YEARS, really did so because they made a sane, rational decision, can you????

No, you can't conceive of that at all, can you?

Then get the hell out of the Apple, Mac, and iPhone world with your rude insane unwanted drivel. You are not appreciated.

Want to bet you can't design on OS X? It's UNIX™.

And yet you are irresistibly attracted to an Apple thread? Yep, like the moth mindlessly attracted to the light so you feel drawn to Apple product threads.
