PCs had trouble even properly implementing USB for years after. Microsoft just couldn't get it right. You do not even know much about computer history. Again, you don't know Jack. The WIFI alliance had many sponsors, but prominent among them was APPLE! Xerox was no where to be found in having anything to do with WIFI.

Firewire? Thunderbolt? Are you even aware that those are actually industry standard connectors not developed by Apple? Probably not.
