Lisinopril can do that. I’d cough until I saw stars.
Lisinopril did that to me too but I got a substitute (Valsartan) and that solved it.
Besides that’s not a Lisinopril cough.
I’ve been taking Lisinopril for years and don’t cough like that. And I smoked for 35 years. Quit a year and a half ago, though.
I take Lisinopril also. Many BP meds can cause a cough.
I took Lysinopril for years and it never made me cough. 10mg
so maybe too low of dose.
I was on Lisinopril and also had problems with coughing. Unfortunately, it caused vaso-vagal syncope, which led to falling over.
You know all those YouTube videos of the fainting goats? Well, when I cough, I'm "the Fainting Old Goat".
My doc put me on lisinopril for one week, had me go for blood test. It caused some kidney rating to shoot up, so he took me off and put me back on amlodipine. I continue to fault amlodipine for the 4-5 lbs/mo gain since I started taking it.
I’m on lisinopril and don’t have a cough. Plan to tell my doctor he’s ruined my Olympic aspirations. I saw where one of the athletes was busted for using hydrochlororizide to mask the use of performance enhancing drugs. I’m going to ask him if I’m using HCTZ to mask my use of lisinopril.
