Worldwide, I see a whole lot more Catholics and Orthodox being persecuted by Muslims and secularists than I do SDAs. The SDA church is basically a footnote, while Catholics and Orthodox are being murdered by the thousands by ISIS and their ilk.
Maybe your identification of "God's people" is a bit off the mark.
