Police searching for a Florida man in connection to a battery case discovered that he was using his wanted poster and mug shot from another case as his Facebook profile picture, authorities said.
"Facebook is a great way to communicate and connect with old friends and family," Cpl. Brian Bossio wrote in a post on the Stuart Police Department's Facebook page. "If you are wanted by the police, it's probably not a good idea to use the 'Wanted of the Week' poster of yourself as your profile pic."

Wow. What is it with criminals who want to document their lives on social media? So incredibly stupid.
His career path as a criminal is limited by malignant stupidity.
I feel a little sorry for the arresting officer. Picture this, it’s a couple of months from now, he or she goes in for their annual performance review where pay grades and rates will be discussed. If you’re that officer, how do you sell your job as difficult and deserving of a raise with criminals this stupid and easy to catch? JK of course, but this is not exactly a difficult case, unless you count trying to keep a straight face while making your report...
Why are the police giving criminals advice on how to avoid the police?
I enjoy it when bank robbery suspects use their own checking deposit slips to write the bank robbery demand notes, or leave their wallets with their ID’s in them behind.

Back when I studies marshal arts, I saw scrawny guys take down towering mountains of muscle with ease. You can’t judge a fighter by his form...not always, anyway.
99% of all criminals are rock stupid. That doesn’t mean they aren’t dangerous. If criminals weren’t stupid they would seldom be caught.
