Kaepernick must be outraged. In Kaepernickland all cops sit on a bench and watch the guy get run over by a train.

It was fascinating to learn that if one drives trains for a living in metropolitan areas, one is almost assured of killing someone during his/her career.

I had no idea so many people were hopping in front of trains in our country!

And every computer in the flow for hours behind!
I was on a commuter train and a train or two in front of us was involved in an accident.
We sat forever!
Many called for a cab to pick them up on a nearby surface street, The west side of Chicongo! Not a nice area!!!
It was in the winter, much safer than summer!

I rode NJT/ConRail/Amtrak for years in the 70s/80s, from Princeton to north into NYC, and if anything stopped, the back-ups and delays were massive until they could get re-routing done. We’d usually just catch a southbound train and go home for the day.
