Wow. Al Kooper - Sometimes in Winter
David Clayton Thomas - Lucretia MacEvil
Good times.

Like Zappa, they were a group you had to see live.

David Clayton Tomas’ version of “And When I Die” is way better than Laura Nyro’s.

I always wanted to see them live back in the ol’ days, but never did.
A really tight group with a very good sound.

Spinning wheel is a great tune. The vinyl recording is incredible. Get the first pressing.

Blood, Sweat and Tears or Chicago?

Give me Chicago, because of Terry Kath. (Although note both bands had the same manager).

I saw those guys a few years ago live, still darn impressive.

They have the show arranged so the horn players get a break every so often to grab an oxygen mask off stage, like the football players do on the bench.

I could see them from my seat off to the side.

"The vinyl recording is incredible."

Have the first two (actually the 2nd and 3rd) on vinyl - they were made for analog, very rich.

I have it somewhere- it was my father’s copy. I actually met Thomas when I was a little kid.
