When he was moving out of his home, he decided to give the pearl to Maggay-Amurao for safekeeping instead of transport it with him "since it's quite heavy,"...
In fact, the pearl weighs in at 34 kilograms, Maggay-Amurao says or approximately 75 pounds.

ZZ Top Pearl Necklace Lyrics
She’s really upset with me again,
I didn’t give her what she likes.
I don’t know what to tell her,
Don’t know what to say.
Everything got funky last night.
She was really bombed,
And I was really blown away,
Until I asked her what she wanted,
And this is what she had to say:
A pearl necklace.
She wanna pearl necklace.
She wanna pearl necklace.
She better have a neck like Dick Butkis.

Looking at the photo of it, I have say the clam really went baroque in producing it.

With $100 million Maggay-Amurao will be the next presidete of the Philippines! He may want to review Steinbeck's, "The Pearl", before any big moves.
