In the “Naked and Afraid” 40 day challenge, it gets obvious that meat absolutely HAD to be on the menu of primitive people in almost every part of the globe. They had one vegetarian who had a dickens of a time making it through.
Without soybean farms [or wild soybean], I suspect that vegetarians are goners after sixty days.
And in Human Planet episodes, it’s amazing the lengths a person will go to for non-veg protein.
