Modern performance cars are all faster then the humans can control. Every one.
Starting with the Corvette.
I have had plenty of fast cars and never did that. I have had two 16 year old drivers (with no insurance) hit me head on (one turning left at an intersection on just a green light and one turning into wrong lane to pass backed up traffic and there I was) and one slightly older driver with insurance hit me from behind while I was stopped at a red light.
