An official for the District of Columbia Public Schools (DCPS) told a U.S. Department of Education bullying summit on Friday that 15.3 percent of high school students in DCPS identify as either gay, lesbian, bisexual or “questioning” — i.e. not sure of their sexuality.
DCPS Health and Wellness Director Diana Bruce cited statistics from a 2012 survey which also found that “6.2% of D.C. middle school youth identify as lesbian, gay or bisexual” and “8.9% of D.C. middle school youth identify as questioning or not sure” regarding their sexual identity. …

Not bad statistics considering the main stream media propaganda campaign against positive gender recognition based on body parts. Science be damned warp factor 9, set course for destruction.
Kids think it’s fun to lie on questionnaires and/or being queer is the latest trend and gets you aTtEnTiOn. Too much koolaid I the water.
Charter schools are generally part of the Public School system which is why they even exist. True alternatives to public school are few and far between. Competition is what the Public School system is in dire need of and the few religious schools and Home school are about it. Internet does offer some as well.
Student survey crap! Takes away from classroom instruction and does very little in the way of providing accurate data.
Since it’s D.C.,I’m surprised the percentage figure isn’t higher in that confused area of the nation.
It is the artificial imperative imbued to young mush minds with no talent, no smarts and no future trying to persuade them that being LGBQ whatever actually means something. The numbers are just too far out of norm to be real.
That’s what they’re being trained to do by the commie libs in the public schools. It’s time to tear those bastards down.

The vast majority of students in DC public schools are black or Hispanic. Just saying.
In Sodom I think it was about 99.9 percent. If it weren’t for the Holy Spirit, we would be heading for that same percentage.
I am glad I left the D.C. metro area, nothing but traffic, piss and $hit, and freaks, plenty of diversity but I think I will move it to Texas when I get back to the states.
Don’t worry. The kids are self identifying as LGBTWXYZ because it’s cool and they get attention for it.
Eventually, it will be unique to act hetero again, and that will be the cool, attention getting behavior.
I’m guessing that 14 of the 15% are simply teenage boys that were hoping to get access to the girls locker room.

So 15.3% of the students are mentally ill and psychologically unstable. Great parenting there WDC parents. Looking at the stats on such things, your children are doomed to lives of intensive counseling or eventual suicide.
The recruiting has been a massive success.

Also 2 percent of 225 million in 1985 is smaller then 2 percent of 325 in 2016. So actually there are more gays in America today then 1985.
