Not far enough from my neck of the woods.
Juan Mexicano?? Is that a pseudonym???
Still trying to figure out his purpose? Maybe he wanted to play backgammon with them?
I would not call those machine guns. I guess they could be full auto rifles. We will never hear the truth.
Juan Mexicano, 31, of Addison...

Sure, bet he comes from a long line of Mexicanos from Addison...../s
We have to take the reporter’s word that these black rifles are “machine guns”. I didn’t see grenades in the picture.
Eric Holder, please pick up the white courtesy phone.
Fast and Furious, anyone?
For those of us unfamiliar with the local geography, where is this place?
I'm inferring from that that "Elgin" is in Illinois.
Why can't posters realize that simply saying "Elgin" could be anywhere?
Not even necessarily in the U.S.
Looking at the comments so far I see a bunch of freepers who apparently don’t really believe in the second amendment
LOTS of Mexican gangbangers in Addison.
My name Jose Jimenez.
It is time to close the grenade show loophole!
Can’t quite make out the selector, but that little dot back toward the shooter might be full auto. Really hard to tell from that view. As for what he might want to use them for, well, I know when I’m playing Monopoly with my friends one of them always takes the battleship and another gets the racing car and I’m left with a wimpy thimble if I don’t provide my own...
Not to far from your abode.
And I’m between Addison and Elgin!!!
Frags? What the hell were they for????
"Grenade-walking" part of "Gunwalker" scandal
Worse Than Gunwalker? State Dept. Allegedly Sold Guns to ZetasPhil Jordan, a former CIA operative and one-time leader of U.S. Drug Enforcement Administrations El Paso Intelligence Center, claims that the Obama administration is running guns to the violent Zetas cartel through the direct commercial sale of military grade weapons:
Jordan, who served as director of the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administrations El Paso Intelligence Center in 1995, said the Zetas have shipped large amounts of weapons purchased in the Dallas area through El Paso.
(snip)
Theyve found anti-aircraft weapons and hand grenades from the Vietnam War era, Plumlee said. Other weapons found include grenade launchers, assault rifles, handguns and military gear including night-vision goggles and body armor.
Can anyone identify the make and model of the carbines photographed. They do not appear to be, or clones of, Colt type AR-15’s, M16’s or M4’s.
They appear to me to be some sort of training tools or paint ball guns or something other than real firearms. Note the lack of gas systems, fake bayonet lugs, etc.
