Trump's been fund raising for the RNC. He chose a VP to their liking. The only conclusion is that they aren't willing to give up power via the ballot box, and they assume we don't despise them.

What's telling is that most elected Republicans are afraid to stand up to them, even those who aren't nevertrumpers. It tells me they've all jumped through a whole lot of hoops they should not have in order to move up the ladder in the Republican Party.

If a majority of Sanders supporters and disgusted independents don't WAKE UP and vote for Trump, the elite across the political spectrum won't even pretend our votes matter any more. How do we convey this to them, that this is our last chance to not go the way of the EU and other past civilizations?

I address this question to all Freepers, because we have to come up with a plan for what we can do, as individuals, to bring votes to our side. Trump is doing everything he can to save the nation, but what WE need is a grassroots strategy!

“and they assume we don’t despise them.”

I think they don’t care that we despise them AND that it doesn’t make a difference that that is so.

Perhaps now that primaries are over we need to dump, our party affiliations now, not after the election

Even 2 million republicans switching to independent might get some attention

Personally I plan to switch after the election but I could accelerate my plan
