Sorry to hear this, especially at such a relatively young age - he was one of the less abrasive talking heads on ESPN.

From virtually all points of reference, he was regarded as a good and decent man.
He was sincerely interested and dedicated to cures for diabetes and cancer.

I remember him fondly from his days at WMAR in Baltimore back in the 1980s before he moved on to join ESPN.
Total class and a top professional. Will be missed!!
