NY gun buybacks yield 165 firearms

The New York Police Department reeled in 165 unwanted guns from buybacks at two churches Saturday.

Authorities offered up a $200 bank card for all handguns and assault rifles in working order and a $25 bank card for rifles and shotguns, no questions asked. Altogether, 66 revolvers were turned, 52 semi-automatic handguns, 15 rifles (three of which were assault-style), 10 shotguns and 27 miscellaneous BB guns and air pistols.

“Each of these guns represents a life saved in the Bronx. We are very pleased that we got so many handguns,” said Bronx District Attorney Darcel D. Clark. “We thank the Bronx residents who wisely turned in illegal firearms to make their homes and communities safer.”

Peter Billingsley (more recent photo):

I'm not sure if he and Favreau are hanging out in the prop room, or if one or both of them own that table-load of hardware.

2 old Jennings’s in .22 Bought at fire sale 20 years ago. $40.00. At $200.00 per, quite a profit!

That looks like a Luger in the left corner. It was probably too difficult to operate for most of the people in that area of NY.

Each of those firearms could have saved several lives if it had not been turned into the hitlerian regime. It could have helped an American protect his home, neighborhood, friends, family, community.

I don’t think that’s a real Luger. I would guess it’s a Stoeger .22 Luger made in the 70’s. I had one. Cheap, but OK. I don’t really see anything on that table that I wouldn’t take $200 for.

Now they can take that $200 credit card they got and use it to go out and buy a much newer, better model gun.

So apparently there is a 1-1 correlation between a gun and a human death. Sadly there are many who believe it.
