The muzzies let their women drive?
Isn’t that some kind of problem?
CA With the illegal driver licenses it is among the worst. You do not have to parallel park any longer to pass a driver’s test. I am frequently passed on no passing zones, in the fog, at night. Someone passed me on a blind curve the other day. I have had numerous people pass me on the left as I try to make a left turn on a two lane road. Passing on the shoulder. Running red lights; at least two or three come through after the light has changed. Essentially, there are no traffic laws here.
It’s an extra lane!
Minnesotastan does....
Somali capital.. come enjoy their driving!!
Indeed.
Case in point, I -70.
A narrow, potholed, crumbling mess (it’s the weather! It’s the topography! It’s...) til you get to WV line. Smooth. Wider. Same at OH line. Because the weather is SO different in that tiny section across WV into OH.
Then there is US 30....
We HAVE to drive defensively or end up w/a blown tire on just about any trip.
You never accuse a Roman cabbie of going the long way or slowing down to increase the fare.
Doncha just love how they stick em in their headscarfs...
We could have used blind folds in Amsterdam when our taxi driver was going at highway speeds on downtown sidewalks to go around traffic stopped at lights.
Also, if you are in the middle lane and signal that you want to get in the far left passing lane, the fellow in your blind spot will match your speed so that he remains in it.
We were in Gettysburg and Bethlehem. Pennsylvania is huge.
LOL! It’s a suburb of Connecticut.
Must have been a time of day when that road wasn’t packed. Usually, when we see those cars bounce high, there is enough time to slow down or swerve before we hit the pothole. But, yeah, it does happen.

I’ve always thought that was silly anyways, but it’s still required in MA.(I think)
.
As a native of Northern Virginia/Washington DC, I can tell you that the drivers here are by far the worst in the country.
The interesting thing about this is that MOST of those drivers are in FACT not from here.
I rode in a taxi in Naples back in ‘64. It was one of the scariest experiences of my life.
You nailed it on the Texas “yahoo Cowboys” and their dam pickem-up trucks. Worst left-lane campers I have ever seen. Assholes! After Texas, commuting in Ohio was a treat!
Clearly the author never drove far from home and didnt rely on real world experience. If they had the list would look like this:
1) Mass (They could save huge $ on road build by just making all roads with a L lane only...Massholes love to drive in the L lane.)
2) RI (If you dont like my driving stay off the sidewalk)
3) CT (The Unhinged State)
4) TN (You mean I have to pay attention when Im driving????)
5) NJ (Annoying at any speed)
6) NY (Home of the granny driver)
7) WA (Lets all yield to each other and pass at a nominal speed...nothing WAtonians like better than a good grid lock)
8) VA (same as Mass...the southern version of lets all drive in the L lane...slowly)
9) VT(dangerous at any speed)
10) PA (The midAtlanic version of Mass and VA)
You wouldn't believe how confused an Iowa-born guy (me) confronting reversible lanes for the first time.
State of confusion.
EAST of the Allegheny Mts, roads improve. Funny how that happens...
One of my favorite PennDOT fixes of a crumbling bridge (the 100+ year old Greenfield Bridge which crossed over the Parkway East-376) was to build a SECOND bridge deck (w/netting) to catch the debris from the older bridge above).
But netting (to catch parts & pieces of crumbling bridges (we have so many due to hills/valleys) is a common fix.
