That's where this idea went wrong. Not that there is anything particularly wrong with Birmingham City University...just the idea that academics serve ANY constructive purpose at ANY university.
“Academics...are developing” = completely impractical and won’t happen.
Solution in search of a problem.
The Left just cannot stop minding other peoples’ business. How about, we strip these academics and then tar and feather them if they ever try to implement this scheme. Then we can recycle their clothes.

This is quite possibly the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard. This is not a problem in the world, that clothes are not recycled quickly enough. I realize we have ongoing problems with hunger, maybe even water, but I really haven’t heard of nakedness being a problem for quite some time.
And if I’m wrong and it IS a problem, this will not solve it.
Nothing against you for posting the thread, but if people are really working on this, they need to find something else to do.
