This was spinning yesterday.
When I sold my family home about 15 years ago we had lots of vinyl that went back to the 1950s.
I threw it all in the rubbish for the city to take it the next morning.
It disappeared in less than 2 hours.
.
Forget the vinyl - I’ll give you 10g’s for those goblets with the big marbles in them.
Hey, a linear tracking arm! Denon? I run a big Micro Seiki deck with two arms currently. Have a Souther/Clearaudio TriQuarz sitting around but no suitable mounting base at this time...some day... Nothing like relaxing to a good (clean) LP...
I’m impressed with how immaculate everything is. I wish that my house was that dust-free.
My precious, original British made Rogers LS35A's, coupled with mated Satterberg woofers went to my youngest son who appreciates them immensely.
Quality audiophile and videophile equipment is well worth the price of admission and worthy of being passed on to one's heirs.
Feels like more than a lifetime. Feels like more than a lifetime.
If your family members don’t want or appreciate your turntable, put my name in your will. I’ll be elated to receive it!
What era is the vinyl from? If it’s doo-wop, early R&B or classic country, will those to me too. I can guarantee they will be played and enjoyed. :)
