“...both the silver and bronze medals will be awarded posthumously in the Bullet Dodging competition.”

I don’t mean to nitpick Bob, But it seems to me that anyone winning a medal posthumously didn’t do that good in the Bullet DODGING competition!

All medals issued by international committees are allowed to award them based on intent these days.

For example, I cannot dive. If I could dive, I know it would be the best dive in the history of diving as my intent is to be the best diver in the world.

If the bullet dodger intended to dodge the bullet with a gold medal worthy performance, his status after the bullet rips through his cerebral cortex is irrelevant.

If you need another example, please see how our esteemed further, the 44th President of the United States, won his Nobel Peace Prize.

(Your political allegiance helps validate your intent ... I forgot that little tidbit)
