This just proves that only cats, Like Toonces, should be allowed to drive

It looks like an elderly dog. Did it mistake the accelerator for the brake?

If it had been an SUV, the SUV would have been blamed.

Oh, I see. Blame it on the dog.

Whenever an SUV is involved in an accident, they blame it on the SUV.

The dog probably thought they were playing “Fetch.”

That is until she noticed the face of the driver was a dog's.

That's happened on a few blind dates.

It’s a miracle that the car wasn’t stolen. If you read the article, the woman left the car RUNNING so the dogs could have the a/c on. Could have turned out a lot worse, with a stolen car and stolen dogs.

As others have observed, it usually requires a combination of actions to take a vehicle out of PARK. That small dog almost certainly could not have pulled that off.

The woman almost certainly left the car in NEUTRAL-- (or, even, DRIVE)...

Old and distracted... (It even appears she left the doors unlocked...)

Question.
When applying for a driver’s license, is the dog’s age calculated in dog years or human years?

He was given a breathalyzer and shown to have dog breath. I also don’t want to stir up a hornets nest here but as someone else pointed out there are actually two dogs. The black dog appears to be in the driver’s seat. We may have some kind of profiling going on here.
