This is getting to be ridiculous. All day long as I have been switching the channels CNN has been interviewing the Muslim Clinton operative who badmouthed Trump at the DNC. Now the moron is calling for the RNC to dump Trump and calling Trump every derogatory term he can think of. The man is certified loony tunes. When CNN takes a break every hour of covering him they're beating to death the "Trump and Russia connections." I have this question. Why on earth doesn't CNN go ahead and change it's name to the Democrat Party Network. Lord, this is crazy. Hour after hours, TRUMP, TRUMP, TRUMP, TRUMP, TRUMP, TRUMP.
Yep. It’s easy to avoid all of this. Don’t take it personal and get your message out - put it back on Hillary. I don’t want to see any more “small hands” moments in the campaign.
He is winning on points so he just has to stay on message and avoid taking the bait. He is smart and I think he will do that because they just deployed their best strategy and the stir it has caused has been hysterical and ridiculous.
I think we all saw Donald become wiser during the campaign, but every so often he still has a willingness to roll in the mud and leave some of us asking “what the hell?”
I appreciate his fighting spirit, but the time for muddy brawls is over - he is now in a chess game for the swing state voters and my childrens future. It’s him and us against the world. My kids could care less about Khan and they barely know who Trump is (some guy running for President that mommy and daddy support), but they will reap the fruit of this election the rest of their lives. That is what is at stake - not his twitter account or his twitter ego.
Not sure why this is so difficult to understand. Again - he ignores it and they are stuck with the super petty crap we have seen them do - people turn that off. The system is rigged in her favor - we supported him. I don’t want him to allow his ego to write a check my kids will have to pay for.
He says every so often that he is humbled by the support he has received and this election is about his supporters, but he risks everything he (and we) have accomplished when he pops off like this. Again - it’s about the swing state undecided voters. Piss them off and say hello to painsuits. Right now, steady for Donald will win the race!
Tonight’s (Sunday) NBC Nightly News was particularly even-handed over the controversy. First, they devoted several minutes to the Hillary campaign’s reaction to “Trump’s attacks on a Gold Star Mother” and then devoted a segment to the reporterette covering Trump’s explaining how Trump does this kind of thing all of the time...inviting Russia to interfere with the election etc. No one from the Trump side was given any airtime, so the entire segment was 100% anti Trump.
Then they switched to covering the heart-warming story of Muslims attending mass in France...with the comment that it contrasted with the divisive tone here in America.

People posting about his coarseness need to either support him and set aside their snowflake tendencies... Or flat out admit that they’re actually trying to support Hillary by protecting her from the vicious angry mean man!
If and when Trump wins this election there’s going to need to be some serious bloodletting. And not just in Washington DC. Conservative groups need to be purged of the moles and the tone sensitivity experts.

If there was any integrity to CNN they’d never stop about Hillary’s lie on the Benghazi videos, how classless it was to call the mother of victims a liar, the danger she put our nation in with her server, the lies about what was on the server, the.....oh my....does the list ever end????

They make something out of nothing. CNN is the absolute worse.
Anyone that heard Trump mention the emails said “if Russia has them hand them over”. He didn’t say a word about hacking. CNN made that up. He was also half-assed joking and every one that heard him could tell he was trying to funny and get a laugh. So like I said, CNN orchestrated every bit of it. These asses will not let anything go if they think they can make hay out of it. Then along comes the absolute nothing story about Khan and his badmouthing Trump for no reason at the DNC. Trump should have ignored but that’s not his style. But when he did reply he didn’t say anything bad about anyone. CNN knows this but they are beating it to death and if I see Ali Kahn one more time on the TV I might have to a brick bat through it. I need a bigger TV anyway.

If you can’t discern what I am saying we can agree to disagree. This election won’t be won by arguments here on FR - it is now down to the swing voters in the swing states. A decidedly emotional bunch with splinters in their ass every election until the last minute. They don’t view this as you and I do - they are the truest form of sheeple in every sense of the word and they have been misled more times than we can count by the MSM.
If pointing out what seems to be as apparent as the nose on my face somehow offends you or makes you believe I am anti-Trump in some way there is no point in further discussion. I absolutely agree with you that this was pre-planned by a Hillary supporting Muslim attorney and it would have happened no matter what. However, Trump did not have to take the bait. If Trump does not respond there is little to talk about besides a guy who is venting and few people pay attention. By framing it like they did - they are able to spin and lie and say Trump somehow attacked a mother who lost her son.
Trump can hold his tongue today - do the opposition research - and respond intelligently tomorrow. That is the best course of action to this crap and there is no doubt they have 100 more of these landmines set. Trump’s first clue should have been to consider the questioner - Steffie is a complete Clinton hack - always has been and always will be.
Trump needs to know his surroundings and know his enemy. Then he can come back and point out the trap that was laid for him and the real truth behind it. Again - the mushy swing voters in the swing states are what the race is for. They usually start paying attention around the conventions.
Trump has a winning message and he needs to pound it and pound it and pound it - he does not need to respond to attacks like this. Discipline on his part will win this race. I hate that I live in a nation of fickle windsocks who have no foundation, curiosity, or knowledge of what is happening, but I do. This is the group Trump must win. This is the group that will dictate how a corrupt GOP congressional leadership treats him. This is sadly the feckless lot that always holds the keys to the White House. This is the group that makes the word “mandate” an actual possibility. This is the group that will make it far easier for Trump to implement his agenda.
Trump has to remember this in the home stretch. He is winning!
