I don’t know the inner workings of the family, of course.
But I suspect, that these Kennedys are raised to believe that they are better than everyone else, because they have money, or because they are somehow divinely inspired.
Scratch that, because it’s hard to see any divine inspiration in a family in which the men have no morals, using any girl for any gratification they desire and then toss her aside.
And I suspect that these Kennedys are raised to believe that they somehow deserve to rule over everyone. IN this case, she’s not in elective office, but she behaves as if she’s a dictator.
They may be raised to believe that the country loves the Kennedys. They may be raised to believe that they have a responsibility to be in some form of public service, whether in elective office or another capacity.
They may well believe that any regular job is beneath them, and that they need to do something for a living, which involves them influencing our politics and out public policies, because they are Kennedys, and they are smarter than the rest of us. It comes full circle. They are better than the rest of us, and they deserve to rule.
Sorry to ramble, I just get this feeling from the Kennedys.
And going back a few years, who the hell did Ted Kennedy think he was, trying to pull strings to get Caroline appointed as a Senator from New York? He allegedly said that he wanted to make sure the Kennedy line would continue in Congress. Who the hell does he think he is to have such opinions of his family?????
I agree with many of your points but I would like put forward the idea of history .
You & I won’t likely be around in 50 years (my assumption)
and I say let history judge them & let the chips fall where they may.
Right now we’re living thru Kerry’s problem with her man-servant, butler, ladies maid, housekeeper, cook,
groundsman and chaffeur.
Let’s hope that one day history will not be written with a bitter pen.
