True; I guess not...
I always watched the Florida - Georgia football game on TV every year...no matter what. So, one Saturday I was watching. OK. So I was laying on the sofa and dozing off. But I knew the score. In walks my two teenage daughters and they say, “Dad. There’s nothing on TV but an old football game. We’ll change the channel for you. Next thing I knew, some Millie and Vanilli video was on my TV. I came up off the sofa and, needless to say, the TV got switched back to the football game in a hurry. But back in the day, I will say, MTV videos were usually on TV in my house.
Video killed the radio star.
"Okay, issue number four: Milli Vanilli. What is this faggot crap?"
Is this a picture of Martha Quinn on the loo ?
I’m not sure. She is smiling though.
I have desperately tried to explain what it was like to see an amazing music video (and one after another) to my children and grandchildren, and I just can’t get them to understand. I really do miss the real MTV.
She always looked young. When she was a “VJ” she looked like she was 14. I’m not surprised she aged well.
Yes, we were lucky, weren’t we?
Amazing music and videos — one after the other. 24/7. Glorious times. (Having to explain that to your grandchildren...man...are we that old already?)
