That’s a weak argument for not building a wall.

Actually not, because we have the means to stop the flood now, but it’s not being done. We have the means to stop gun violence, but we don’t. Passing new gun laws is not the answer, enforcing laws on the books now is the way to stop gun violence.
I disagree that building a wall is the way to stop illegals coming in. Enforcing the laws we now have on the books is the way to do so.
Why are we always agreeing to go to the extreme before we try doing what is within our ability and the law to do now?
