Its a common brown bat that is somewhat desiccated... It's been examined by medical & veterinarian doctors who can't identify it. To be a hoax. it would have to be a really elaborate one, altering the skeleton & internal organs & piecing it together in such a way not to be noticeable. I've seen the actual pictures & x-rays up close & have talked to L.A.. If it was a bat, he would know it. Bats don't have stingers.
