You know your friends will help you (all of us), if you need help to get there.

You are awesome, but I must decline the generosity. I was helped last time. Whatever my situation, job loss or no, I *have* to make it there of my own volition this time.

In the 12 Traditions of AA, Tradition 7 states "Every N.A. group ought to be fully self- supporting, declining outside contributions." In personal terms, that means, to the extent you can, don't accept charity.

I have been helped by some freepers for the job loss right now. They have made it possible for me to make it to the next job. I foolishly spent my 'prudent reserve' on a debt when I went on contract, expecting to replenish it quickly. The contracting client dumped me after 4 days. I got caught in the worst of all possible scenarios.

Several Freepers stepped up, and stepped up HARD. They made my survival very probable.

I don't want any more by way of funds. I am grateful for the help recieved. I CERTAINLY do not want help for something recreational! If I can make it to the TCMS shoot on my own accord, I will. If not, then not.

“You’re on my bucket list.”

If Laz had a nickel for every time a woman told him that...

Oh by the way, my brother: The personnel at a FULL AUTO RANGE found the bullpup Saiga irresistable. Several came over and wanted to handle it. If I had thought to, every one of them would have liked to take it for a spin.

It is one hell of a lead projection system. :) Given that shotgun gauges are measured in how many loads you can prepare with a pound of lead, this Saiga (with a 12 round mag) can put one pound of lead downrange in under 5 seconds.

Glad you and the boy had a great time. I miss the “open range” we had years ago in my area before the government (ODNR) got involved. We had cannons and everything, lol.
There would always be someone who stepped up to the plate for range master. Our forefathers would have been proud. Ready on the right. You couldn’t ask for a safer bunch of shooters. It gave my heart joy. I’m still enamored of this old Thompson .50 cal Renegade, patriot blood I guess.

Well, we probably crossed paths when you hit Kennesaw Mountain and downtown K’saw. We are just up the road apiece on the very route of The General. Wildman and his store are something else. You didn’t venture across the street to Southern Museum of Civil War and Locomotive History to see The General?!

We visited Kennesaw Battlefield during our visit to Georgia in May. It would have been nice to be there for this re-enactment.

Most enjoyable read. Thanks.

Sounds like you guys had a great time.

I got a kick out of Wildman’s shop having a flower pot and window box out front.

Wildman. He loves flowers but hates him some black folk.
