Congrats, CC!
My 7-year old tuxedo kitteh, Bug, is king of the castle here. Younger kid got a lab puppy around Thanksgiving and older kid moved back home temporarily with her whippet while her husband’s on deployment, so Bug has encountered some unwanted sniffing and ‘requests’ to play with the dogs. He’s stood his ground and had to ‘fwap’ them a few times to let them know he’s in charge. Now things have settled in to a comfortable routine. I’m sure Miss Pepper will settle right in with her cohabitants in no time.
Here’s wishing you many years of love and enjoyment.
Congratulations! Enjoy your new kitty! Pictures please! We want to see her.
Congratulations on your new arrival!
I recently went to the vet with my Boston Terrier - Betty Boop - and came home empty handed. I understand you feel. Glad you jumped back in. Plenty of animals out there that need a responsible, loving human.
I did see an interesting story this week about a funeral parlor that had what looked like labradoodles that roamed the funeral home and comforted those grieving. The dogs would just go up and nuzzle people. Such a great idea. Would really be helpful for children.
Mazel Tov!

best cat name ever felis sphincterus....think about it
Congrats on your new furball!
My six furballs and I commend you for rescuing a kitty. “Bless the beasts and the children, for in this world they have no voice.”
Aww, congratulations!
Good for you. IMHO the best way to deal with the loss of a beloved fur person is to adopt another ASAP. It happened to me a bit less than six years ago when I lost the beloved Brother, who was half Cholocate Lab and half Weimaraner. I got to work right away on the Internet looking for a Great Dane and found a wonderful black and white mantled Dane who looks a bit like a giant black and white Beagle with long, floppy black ears. He’s five years old now and one of the best dogs I’ve ever had.
Congratulations CC! I am so happy you have a new loveball. I am on the couch w/ our shelter adoption dog. Last Sunday we put our beloved 16 year old dog to sleep. Our new one came home this past Tuesday & it’s like she’s been here forever.
Give her a smooch from my crew!

Though the fur babies we lost cannot be replaced in our hearts, there is the sweet truth that opening our lives to another one needing a good home has the power to heal our hearts. Congrats on getting a new kitteh! They are SO sweet!
Congrats! :) =^..^=
She just showed up one day. I live in the country, and it's a shame, but someone abandoned this tiny thing!
She showed up two weeks ago. My small indoor dog Pumpkin started running around looking out the windows and barking. She then ran to the side door where my big German Shepherd outside dog (GSD) was chained. I saw this kitty walking up to the big dog. Luckily the GSD was caught around a bush. I opened the door to shoo away the kitty and Pumpkin ran out between my legs and attacked the kitty while my GSD was snapping at both of them trying to get a bite! I picked up the kitty with one hand, Pumpkin with the other, and used a free leg to push away the GSD. Got back in the house with the two little ones. Whew!!!
Well, the little kitty was so friendly and cute. I decided to keep her. Named her Daisy.
Here she is:
Here, Pumpkin formally meets Daisy. While not buddies yet, Pumpkin does not go after her anymore.
Sweet! My Ragdoll Frank says congrats!
Congrats!
CONGRATULATIONS!! I am sorry about the loss of your one kitty but I am also happy that you rescued one. She sounds beautiful. Good luck with the whole new socialization thing with the other kitty pack.... sounds difficult? (((Hugs))) Mom
WOW. Excellent credentials!
