They should ripen very well, that way. Even when they don’t ripen on the vine, they have a superior taste to what you can get in the supermarket.

Just harvested the Sweet Basil leaves from last 2 week’s growth - sending to friend along with pepper seeds - store and organic - he and neighbor going to have small community garden. About to start drying them now in oven. Last I used 170 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Will probably only go 10 mins today.
