I was listening to Sky News when she was being interviewed. I did not hear those words, but her attitude came though loud and clear.
Sorry sanctimonious, selfish bitch. Apology not accepted.
These are the times when our true characters are revealed. She is ugly to the core. Ain't no maybe about it.

Wow....she sounds like an American DEMOCRAT!

Are we sure this isn’t a promo for the new “Absolutely Fabulous” movie?

I didn’t see her interviewed, so I didn’t see her demeanor. I’m wondering if she realized how meaningless her shopping excursion was in light of the terrorist attack. Maybe, however inelegantly, she inadvertently learned a lesson. Maybe not.

I’m not wishing ill on this woman (I didn’t say lady), but her time of dodging muzzie-driven death trucks on London streets is coming.

Why do people bother making these vacuous, tepid apologies? The only appropriate follow-up to her idiocy is “I said something incredibly stupid, insensitive, and shallow. I apologize to the world.”
And then there’s the question of why she posted such a moronic thing to begin with. Did she really think anyone gave a hoot about her shopping trip to Nice? But that’s fodder for another rant ...

I, too heard her live and she certainly did not sound stressed or a bit confused. Quite the contrary. She sounded truly annoyed.
Apology uncharacteristically NOT accepted.

I heard this live as well, and the young woman/mother was very articulate and informative re last night’s events in Nice.
The shopping thing only came up as a result of the Sky anchor’s line of questioning, and it was obvious (to me) that LN-C was hesitant to delve into it;
no doubt she understood how trivial it seemed.
Similarly, she was just as hesitant/embarrassed mentioning that her needing a trip to the loo is what kept her/friend from being out on that street.
And again, that also arose only as a result of the anchor’s steering her in that direction.
I totally get/agree/participate in ripping the stupid, thoughtless shite that people oft get up to,
but sometimes the knee-jerk condescension via hearsay info in here is discouraging in its own right.

Your words and actions tell us who you are.
She volunteered this information. She wasn’t being tortured.
I’ll bet her muscles still worked and she could have closed her mouth.
She’s a nitwit.

Yes, I heard that and thought I was imagining it. She may have been the one also who said that she had to go to the loo. What an inconvenience for her.
