Report: FBI agents believe 'inside deal' happened in Clinton email probe
Washington Examiner ^ | 7/13/2016 | Sarah Westwood

Posted on 07/13/2016 10:05:47 AM PDT by orchestra

FBI agents are reportedly skeptical of the law enforcement agency's decision to close the Hillary Clinton email investigation without recommending criminal charges.

Agents told the New York Post that they "believe there was an inside deal put in place" after Attorney General Loretta Lynch met privately with former President Bill Clinton just days ahead of the FBI's announcement that its year-long probe had ended.

Investigators were reportedly forced to sign unusually extensive nondisclosure agreements that would prevent them from speaking publicly about the investigation of Hillary Clinton's private email use.

The FBI's decision last week rankled Republicans, who have pushed the Justice Department to open a second probe into whether the former secretary of state committeed perjury last year when she testified before the House Select Committee on Benghazi. The Justice Department did not return a request for comment.

Hence the conflict of interest--in this case a HUGE one.

In my opinion this person is not a legitimate source. At best he/she is telling the “audience” want they want to hear. If you follow the thread he/she is a holocaust denier and an obvious anti-semite. There is nothing the individual said that could not have been deduced by a reasonably intelligent person.

Cynicism is the inevitable stepchild of cronyism. Why should an FBI agent jeopardize his reputation and his career in a cause rendered hopeless by cronyism?

Consider the realities: the Senate failed to convict Bill Clinton in impeachment even though DNA proved that he was a perjurer attempting to fix a court case. In the wake of Clinton escaping impeachment, Independent counsel Ken Starr behaved in a way that can stand as a model for the behavior of FBI Director Comey, prove the case of criminal behavior and then elect at the last moment not pursue criminal charges upon the flimsiest of rationale.

We saw the other side of the coin in the Scooter Libby persecution, a Republican, done by FBI director Comey's sidekick Fitzgerald. Closer in time, we have the overreaching and the prosecution of Republican Gov. of Virginia McDonald which was so egregious it is been reversed 9-0 by the Supreme Court.

If you have the opportunity as I have to speak to a Secret Service agent charged with POTUS protection, ask them as I have whether they would take a bullet for Obama or Hillary. I suspect you will hear them laugh sardonically as I did.

Cynicism can kill this Republic but it is misplaced to blame the cynics when, judging from the behavior of those who generate cynicism, they might better be described as realists.

Why are they required to sign non-disclosure agreements? It was a criminal investigation performed by a public agency.

I’m not aware of any other state and local agencies that require their investigators to do this.

The public has a right to know the details from direct/indirect orders to the officers and to their findings and the statements made by the witnesses.

What if this had gone to trial? These folks would have been called upon as witnesses to the case and subject to direct questioning by the prosecution and defense. To do this, how would have that affected the signing of the non-disclosure agreements?

Yeah, I didn’t like that either. Whether or not the Jews run the monetary system is arguable (but from reading Carrol Quigley, probably not true), but the world, no way. They haven’t been around long enough.

Some of the things that person said were probably disinfo. But from what I’ve heard, the stuff on the Clinton Foundation is legit.

“believe there was an inside deal put in place”

Gee, ya think?

Our AG is a liar. Our AG refuses to explain. Our FBI director lies. Tells the truth then lies about the outcome.

There is not much you can do when he executive branch lies and stonewalls. Thats what happened to Gowdy’s committee: based solely on the info those under investigation allowed to be released, that was the best they could come up with.
It looks like they caved but the dots were witheld: the factual dots, not the “i KNOW better” dots.

I hope there is a awakening giant ready to sweep these people away like Hercules cleaning out the stables.

While I doubt it will happen, I wish DT’s second act will be to fire everyone and make them re-apply for their jobs.

Everyone.

I hope none of the rank and file FBI agents resign because it would be only the conscientious and patriotic ones who would do so. We can't lose them.

Besides, why should these good agents permit liars, traitors and law-breakers like Obama, Comey, Lynch and Hillary to drive them out of their jobs, incomes, family security and future career opportunities???

Seven more months to go and they'll have a new boss with Mr. Trump....let them tell their information then....in safety.

We MUST win this election in a landslide...and if we do, we'll we discover that the best revenge for EVERY miscarriage, betrayal and injustice is massive success.

It is a nest of thieves and the only way it can be cleaned up is to elect Trump with the HOPE that he will drive a stake through the heart of the whole criminal enterprise.

Which is why they will do anything...AN-Y-THING to keep Trump out of the White House. They will blackmail him, buy him outright or flat out erase him. This whole thing is going to get very interesting by November. If it takes that long.

I was really disappointed that Lynch wasn't asked SPECIFICS about her "coincidental" meeting with Bill on the tarmac. Because Lynch was regurgitating the same "I'll defer to the FBI Director's decision", WHY didn't anyone ask her the following?:

* Since you always have staff with you, how many staff members were on the plane when you traveled to Phoenix?

* Please give us their names.

* How many of them were with you during this inappropriate meeting with Bill Clinton? * If she answered no one was there but her husband, Ask: Why would you not want witnesses to an ex parte conversation (that you shouldn't have been having)?

* Why did the FBI agents outside of your plane tell bystanders that they could not take photographs or have cell phones around your plane?

* We want the names of these FBI agents who gave these instructions and who ordered them to do so.

These were no-brainer questions that should have been asked!!!

No, no conflict. He also worked for the Clinton Foundation.

Please give us a link proving that! If true, why has this not been publicized?

If you catch your significant other leaving a hotel room with another person in the afternoon do you really need to ask questions about what they were doing?

Further, which OJ Simpson type juror would vote to convict? At best a hung jury.

So I wonder what happened to the much ballyhooed claims of Fox News's Judge Napolitano, who had been saying every day for the last year that his "inside sources" within the FBI said that agents were recommending an indictment and if they were stymied by Comey or Lynch there would be protests, leaked information and mass resignations throughout the agency???

If FBI agents are protesting and resigning en masse, I sure haven't heard about it. I'm starting to think Napolitano was pulling what Dick Morris and Karl Rove pulled in 2012, basically just blowing smoke up conservatives a**es to sell books and get extra air time on Fox.

Comey:

To be clear, this is not to suggest that in similar circumstances, a person who engaged in this activity would face no consequences. To the contrary, those individuals are often subject to security or administrative sanctions. But that is not what we are deciding now.

That may have been a warning to his investigators.
