Similar, but the Estonians are a joyful lot. I mentioned them because they are the only ones able to talk with the Finns...that Finno-Ugric language thing.
NC, had your employer been able to rustle up an Estonian engineer to translate, the job would have been done quickly, precisely and with much great laughter all around, drinks afterwards.
Hungarian is a Finno-Ugric language, too, but (according to the chart), Hungarian is “Ugric,” while Finnish and Estonian are “Trans-Baltic Finnic.”
No Estonians ever came to assist. Just Finns. With the same English abilities as the original translator... ;-)
Often accompanied by a cloud of body odor. I can understand if they had to melt the glacier to bathe, but Hyvinkää isn’t that far north. Not to mention the hotels in NYC I’m sure had showers available in their rooms...
