2103 Corvette Grand Sport, & 2014 Corvette Stingray, but my wife won’t let me drive hers’ anymore.
Hey! I’m in for my first post ever.
I also like the '67 - '69 Plymouth Barracuda 340 Formula S.
And the '65 GOAT.
1966 L69(tri power) Olds 442 convertible. I was an idiot and sold it before restoring it.
A Rolls Canardley.......
This, the only car I've ever driven (no joke).
70 Challenger.
Ferrari 275 GTB4
Best classic/muscle car I haven’t driven: 1968 high performance Mustang driven by Steve McQueen in Bullitt.
Next best classic/muscle car I haven’t driven: 1971 Dodge Charger driven by Barry Newman in Vanishing Point.
Best classic/muscle car I’ve driven: 1966 Corvette.
Any C2 Corvette with a stinger hood.
Highest Quality is a toughy. A lot of them muscle cars are all the same basic quality. The AMX 2 seater was a great build quality.
But I’d have to start saying things like Packard and Studebaker for quality. I’ve seen some Hudsons that had great quality too. But muscle car is a tough one.
I thought the 70-72 Camaros were a great build quality, and the 71-73 Formulas (The RAMair 2 setup was understandable. The RA3 setup was mysterious. My 72 Formula 400, as you could imagine, didn’t like going fast in the rain when I opened the scoops.)
Shaker-hood style Mustangs were innovative with great layouts and careful finishes on body panels .. but that didn’t mean a thing when it came to the rust. The body collected water. OF course, come to think of it, so did the F bodies.
The 70 Lemans is one of my favorites for it’s attention to detail in the body line. The interior was typical GM though. The seats were really comfy (Like Poncho high backs.. and Porsche 911 highbacks. Those seats are far more comfortable than they should be)
I’ve been thinking of hunting down a Lemans these days. But in 72 the quality just went to hell.
1967 Corvette Stingray!! It belonged to my buddy who was nice enough to let me borrow it one night to impress a girl. She wasn’t that impressed, but I sure was! Smokin’!
This car was INCREDIBLY FAST with unreal acceleration off the line and would EAT V8's in the quarter mile, hence the 'SPRINT' banner.
The Pontiac OHC6 w/4BBL was a milestone in engine development as one of the early Overhead Cams. Underrated, to say the least.
1969 z28
Humm..long list. Countach. Daytona and a 62 vette.
78 911SC Targa
68 Pontiac Firebird 400
