New Knicks big man Joakim Noah blocked out some time for some Q&A with Post columnist Steve Serby.
[cut]
Q: If you were president of the United States, you would A: I would make it illegal to buy guns.
Q: What are your views on whats been happening this past week? A: This past week? This past decade? Or this past forever? My views havent really changed much. Its just very sad whats going on in this country. Not just the police brutality, thats getting a lot of the headlines right now, but just kids killing kids, and kids having access to automatic rifles, and school shootings. Its just disappointing that these laws arent changing. Its almost like you hear all these things, and you almost become numb to the realities. This is not normal. They have to change the laws. They have to change the gun laws.
Q: Its sad what this country is going through. A: This is the best country in the world. The most open-minded country in the world. Freedom of speech, you can say whatever you want. Theres so many great things about this country. Ive traveled the world. Ive lived in a lot of different countries
but this gun violence is out of control, and they need to do something about it.

Perhaps these idiots should actually use their brains to find some facts.
Most cop killings are white people.
Violent Crime has been on the decline for years.
Drug gang turf battles kill more people every year than our wars.
Our loose borders allow drugs and guns to flow into our inner cities, bankrupting an already stressed medical system and cities have to spend billions just cleaning up the mess.
I advocate a real drug war. We should be droning Mexico. If their corrupt government cannot stop it, our government should.
Wage controls are communist. I say we tax the shit out of them.
Shut up and dribble, Joak....
I hope he does well with the Knicks, who could sure use some help.
I guess that he got the notion that the president has the power and authority of a king by watching Bath House's performance for the past 7 years.
What does he think guarantees the freedom of speech? Why none other than the SECOND AMENDMENT! Without #2, we don’t have the others, especially #1.
