Should Black Lives Matter Drive the Gun Control Debate
July 9, 2016 | (self)

Just a question: Should the police killings by people inspired by (or belonging to) Black Lives Matter be used as a justification to deprive law-abiding Americans of their gun rights, as Republicans now appear to be supporting?

Or should we conservatives instead tell everyone to take a deep breath and first have the administration show that they're willing to deal with Black Lives Matter as a terrorist group, as they should have been dealt with practically from the start? After that, then we can discuss what, if any steps, need to be taken to cut down on mass killings.

Mobs should never drive any debate, and BLM are simply the leaders of an ignorant mob. The leaders use any police shooting or similar event as a bell to call the mob into action. Instead of being infiltrated and prosecuted by the FBI, the leaders are invited to the white house over 80 times. The president and doj are with the mob. We will see if the republicans in the house have the balls to stand up to the mob, and we will see very soon.

The gun control debate is very simple:

“A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State,”
[preforatory clause - a preface that explains but does not modify the subject or the predicate]

“the right of the people to keep and bear Arms,”
[the subject - an individual right held by all citizens, covering both owning and carrying hand-held weapons, including but not limited to knives, swords, firearms, compressed air weapons, bows, crossbows, and ammunition]

“shall not be infringed,”
[the predicate - an absolute prohibition on any government restrictions on this most fundamental of all individual rights].

We have tried tolerating silly, meaningless restrictions, and those compromises just whet the liberal appetite for further restrictions. Their goal has not changed. Socialists want absolute power, which requires disarming their subjects.

No more compromises. None. No registration. No background checks. No restrictions. There is no reason to debate or to negotiate with those who want to control every detail of our lives. This fundamental individual right was granted by God, and in “shall not be infringed” it has the strongest protection of any right in the Bill of Rights. The answer is “no”.

There should be no gun control debate period. Our rights are our rights. Just because some idiot leftists with an agenda to deform America think otherwise is irrelevant.

True, but we have to have a better response, considering how raw emotions are. Just saying “go to hell” won’t fly and won’t happen - it’s either we delay until cooler heads prevail, or we’re going to have something SHOVED DOWN OUR THROATS.

How could you best accomplish an economic attack on a country like the US? Create a race war.

The paradigm has shifted and BLM is in the rearview mirror, although it thinks itself the catbird. Why? The people being flooded into this country from countries that are used to warlords and war are used to handling weaponry and killing. People who do not arm and defend themselves need to be in the minority.

Meanwhile, 0bama wants the UN Small Arms Treaty and TPP both passed, each of which has US citizens disarmed.

BLM is his bought-and-paid-for national ‘security force’ that is being used as a feint for the real agenda.

So what if people die.

Earlier, a poster spoke of being out of country for a week, and almost all international TV was broadcasting that White Americans are all Klan-style racists. Why would global tv lather that on?

Like I said, so what if people die.

No wonder 0bama smiles.

Years ago now, I was watching the end of a presser with 0bama, as he was leaving. He was asked something about the success of the US. I remember his words exactly: “The United States may fail, but my daughters will be just fine.”

Now, why would he have said the first part of that sentence?

Because he had intended that the US fail from the beginning.
