During my job working for a contractor of a government agency, I was required to obtain a Q clearance (top secret clearance). They did a thorough investigation, interviewing colleagues and neighbors and every detail of my background including all relatives. Every time I attended a meeting where classified stuff was discussed, it was always held in a sound proof and secure conference room.
While Hillary Clinton’s server was once stored in a unsecured bath room? And she is cleared of any wrong doing? Incredible!

If Ryan had requested a yes or no response by x date, I would take this seriously. This letter appears to have been written to make it easy to ignore. A letter signed by the chairmen of the House and Senate Intel, and Appropriations Committees, with a clear requirement for an answer, might have had some weight.

The Obama will deny the request thru the appropriate subordinate (not that she has reason for access). Refusing the order would result in immediate replacement by someone who will obey.
If elected POTUS, she receives access by being the chief executive ordering such access.
