I was just wondering how the lame-brained act of appointing Caroline Kennedy as ambassador to Japan was working out. According to Democrat sources the appointment was a stroke of genius on the part of Barry the Liar. I ran across Daniel Greenfield's old article that I thought was worth reposting.

It’s al part of a plan to shove their stupid ideology down our throats across the entire State Department.

On June 19, the US Consulate in Frankfort, Germany posted on Twitter a fawning story about how US Muslims were condemning the Orlando attack.

I replied that Congress ought to know since the liberals there are blaming Christians and gun owners. I also asked where they got the authority to post such a story on an official government twitter channel.

Reminds me of what is supposed to be a true story:
Ted Kennedy was campaigning, kissing babies, etc., when an older woman stopped him in his tracks by saying “I heard you’ve never worked a day in your life”.

Ambassadorships to major countries and trouble spots were typically given out to professional diplomats. You might send a donor with no diplomatic experience off to play ambassador to Gambia or Cyprus, but not to France or China.

Her grandfather had no diplomatic experience, but FDR made him Ambassador to Great Britain. He turned out to be a pro-Hitler disaster.
