One thing I learned at my short stint in political activism is if you can’t generate a sense of crisis or emergency, you can’t get people off their *ss long enough to vote. So, we are now inundated with emergencies, crises and hate crimes. We all have to (fill-in-blank) right now or the CHILDREN will die!!!!!
This is one reason I never watch the news anymore. They want viewership. So, everything is a crisis. I’m just tired of the crisis de jour.

I think that they watched "Ghostbusters" a few too many times while marinated in various legal and possibly illegal substances. Sound very similar to Dr Egon Spengler's warning; There's something very important I forgot to tell you!
