I went to the first movie of my life at age six or so at the Ball theatre in Pageland, SC which belonged to Van Lingle Mungo https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nKzobTlF8fM his brother was a teacher at Pageland high when I was in high school. Van Lingle Mungo was a “high kicker” on the pitcher’s mound as was his brother. At one time Mungo was listed in the Guiness book of world records for having the world’s fastest pitch.
