Firefighters and medics will take their first “Trans 101” course on Tuesday, learning the correct way to interact with transgender people — and even getting a lesson in what LGTBQI actually stands for, a city official said.
The two-hour sensitivity training was launched in March by the city Commission for Human Rights after Mayor de Blasio signed an executive order allowing people to use any public bathroom or locker room they identified with, regardless of their sexual anatomy.

In the crisis moment of fighting a fire or saving someone from being shot, why would any RATIONAL city entity require that, in addition to the essential things necessary to save a life, a policeman or fireman ALSO has to remember what stupid pronoun to call the people they are trying to help? And will those ingrates then subsequently sue him for addressing their little snowflake selves by the wrong pronoun? Libtard stupidity at its most blatant. It might even jeopardize lives. I cannot imagine the level of stupidity of the people who voted in the politicians requiring this garbage. I know it sure wasn't ME.

A bigger issue here is lifesaving communication. The EMT or Paramedic will be in communication with a ER doctor and eliminating confusion between the EMT and the doctor is paramount with the lifesaving goal.
Sex, age and vital signs are the big three that the doctor needs to know and any confusion in those three can cause the death of the patient.
The Left always needs a boogieman to fight to keep their coalition marching in lock step. LGBT discrimination is the New and Improved version of racism. As usual the likely hood of incents being the victims of the Lefts political maneuvering is of no concern.
