FWIW you can go back to 1898 to the invention of the first commercially viable semi-automatic handgun or at least back to 1911 when the 1911 A-1 Colt Government model .45 caliber pistol was invented and is still very popular and whose design is emulated in numerous other makes and models today.

That’s 118 years of semi-automatic firearms.

Still haven't got a Kukri of my own yet, but I've been eyeballing one made by Kershaw.
I did get to make my flanged mace. A little over 2' and about 4 lbs. Major zombie potential.

Not too bad really, lovin' the summer weather right now.

The mace sounds great. One blow does it! I still love my $20 dollar Indian made kukri. Razor sharp. Easy to sharpen but holds an edge well. I've done a heck of a lot of work with it and it's ready for zombies whenever they come.

So far I've only called it Splinter 'cause that is what it does to wood...turn it into splinters. LOL
