There were all manner of fake gospels current in the second century, and a manuscript of one of them is not "fake" in the sense of being a modern forgery.
This is not just a "fake gospel" it is a "fake fake gospel".

Exactly. An ancient document with incorrect information is one thing. A modern document passing for ancient is something else.
