Thanks to the good work of Twitter user @ahmedaa1k, you are able to see what was being said in Arabic by many Muslims in response to the Orlando shooting. Please keep in mind, Ahmed is the individual translating these tweets, not the individual making these abhorrent comments.

If you run into any CAIR jihadists or other Muslims talking about solidarity between Muslims and the Gay community, show them these comments:

We have posters calling for editing the bible so it’s more convenient for them? Ugh! /FacePalm

So you don’t understand the concept of Abrogation, in both the bible and Islamic scripture.

It very much favors Christianity over Islam.

I have a problem with this article. How do we know these are moderates?

"When I confront those defending islam for its retardness, the violent passages in the Bible always come up. Get it out of there."

The bible is a collection of books telling the complete story of God and His interaction with His people here on earth. Part of the way that He dealt with His people involved violence. Sometimes it was done by Him. Sometimes it was ordered by Him. Then after thousands of years of this strained relationship with His people, He became incarnate and sent His Son to be the ultimate bridge between Himself and His people. Since then, the violence and the sacrifice and ritual and the rules between Himself and His people have no longer been needed. We have a direct connection to Him through His Son.

The Bible is a full narrative. All parts of it are needed to understand it. You don't take out parts here and there in 2016 because they don't fit with the currently way of thinking.

The word moderate was written ‘moderate’ denoting so-called.

Well then it is a waste of time because who is denoting them as ‘moderate’. I would expect the tweets from the radicals. Are the tweeters part of ‘moderate’ Islamic mosques? Are they even in this country?

Would be e better article if the qualification for their ‘moderate’ stance was established.

The ignorance of this thread is appalling. The strictures of Leviticus are part of the Mosaic Law given due to the stiff-neckedness of Israel. It was for the discipline of God’s people in that place at that time.

To suggest that we should amend the Bible to comport with social mores is not only scary on this board but downright ignorant. You want peace in this world? Comport the world to the Bible... and understand what is written and why. No one seems to care about that last part anymore.

The single quotation marks denotes sarcasm. Sorry if the whole point you got out the post was not understanding the sarcasm and you are offended.

You see the problem is the OLD Testament does in fact condone violence against gays . . .
The Muslims are about 600 years behind modern Christians.
Slavery was an accepted institution (accepted by everyone except the slaves, at least) globally and throughout time, from prehistoric times right up thru the 17th Century. There were no cultures in which people would take serious umbrage at slavery of unrelated people. It was just their tough luck. Christians turned against the institution as such, only in the Founding era.
William Wilberforce

Black Rednecks and White Liberals - Thomas Sowell

Epistle to Philemon

Slavery and the Civil War.

The southerners who fought to retain the institution of slavery were simply the Christians - they were indeed such - who were uniquely situated to be the last ones to get (and accept) the word that Christianity as a culture had rejected that institution. So (manifest acceptance of the institution in the Book of Philemon in the New Testament, and the fact that their enslavers were Christians with guns notwithstanding) the best hope of the Southern slaves was still Christians with guns. Just as it was for those gays trapped by a murderer who “agreed” with nominal “Christian” teaching on homosexuals. Main thing the gays had to fear from the Christians was modeling, and perhaps saying, that their lifestyle was not a model Christians aspire to emulate.

Not offended, just prefer that it was legitimate claim of moderate. I know the others are evil.
