Kim Kardashian Calls Out Congress For Failing To Close The ‘Terror Gap’

Kim Kardashian shared her thoughts about gun control following the deadliest mass shooting in U.S. history in Orlando early Sunday morning.

In a series of tweets sent on Sunday, the 35-year-old reality star called out Congress for failing to close the “terror gap,” a legal loophole that allows individuals on terrorist watch lists to purchase firearms.

Kim has spoken openly about gun laws in the past.

Following the 2012 mass shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut — which left 26 people, mostly children, dead — she tweeted her support of stricter gun control. In June 2015, she also offered gun control as an idea that could change the world during a Q&A session hosted by the Commonwealth Club of California.
