Arm farts. He needs to punctuate each point he makes with a couple of arm farts. War whoops. Using war whoops while looking crossed eyed directly into the camera would also work well. Every speech should end with a wet raspberry, yelling “boogie, boogie, boogie” and a dry fart.

Well, there might be other ideas out there that will help this proven loser compete.

I started thread under News/Activism

Activism - The policy or action of using vigorous campaigning to bring about political or social change.

make the teleprompter work is because without it, the loose cannon gets in trouble.

A loose cannon is more maneuverable....and unpredictable.

Personally, I liked him better without the teleprompter... but I think he'll improve a lot with a little more practice.

Without the teleprompter he sometimes rambled a little too much... with it he's a little dry. I think after a few more speeches with it he'll get used to it and the result will be the best of both approaches.

The content of course is key... but the crowds do like the spontaneity of his extemporaneous comments.

I hate it when I can tell they are reading it. Reagan was the best. In fact, did Reagan use the teleprompter?

Not so fast. Have you heard his speeches when he uses a teleprompter?

Yes, all five of them

I was absolutely livid the other day when Chuck Todd was on Bernard McGuirk’s radio show and trashed the contents of his speech (the teleprompter one) after the California win. Todd really showed his very ugly personality in his mockery and dismissal of Trump’s fine remarks. I never realized Bernie was a stutterer until he jumped down Todd’s throat.

For those who don’t know, Bernie was Imus’s long time producer and now has his own local show.

Tweet Trump tell him he will lose big if he doesn’t hire you as a political advisor.

He has been right every time, just like he is right to call out Curiel. Perhaps if you actually learned about this judge you would know that. He is not a loose cannon. Worrying about him being a loose cannon is what will cause him to lose. He has a winning formula, shame you can neither see nor accept that fact even after all of his success.

He will be our 45th President.

I Googled —”Does Hillary use a teleprompter?” The links I got were all about Trump. Nothing at all about H.

Bing was better, altho I still don’t have an answer.

Personally, I think he does very well with the teleprompter. He definitely makes the points he needs to make instead of circling all around and never quite landing on them ... something he does when speaking extemporaneously. He is great at ad libbing during his teleprompter speeches which gives them a more ad lib feel.

That being said, I don’t think he should or will give up his “rally” style of speeches - folks love it & it’s energizing. When he is dishing out the goods on Hilly however, he needs to lay out some specific details & tie it all together & I think he’s going to need the teleprompter to do it. He’s smart enough to know when to do what & he’ll mix it up.

Oh come on, we are not a cult, Trump is not our cult leader. We can criticize Trump and still support him. Java’s opinion is that Trump does better without a teleprompter. I appreciate his point, and I will watch his next scripted speech and see if I agree.

I can remember back in the day, wholeheartedly supporting Ronald Reagan but every now and then I would really disagree with something he would say or do, and I hope that it can be the same with Trump — that we can take issue with something he says or does, and have an intelligent discussion about it, pro and con, recognizing that none of us are going to turn into democrats. We do not to need act like the mindless cult followers that we are accused of being by people who disagree with us. Let us demonstrate we do think for ourselves, and if a candidate we support takes a stance we don’t like, we can say so and discuss it. Maybe the candidate is right and our position incorrect, it certainly is worthwhile to discuss these things rationally instead of just name calling.

(Personally, I do not like Trump’s neutrality it is okay to have men in the women’s bathrooms, it is not in my opinion, for any male over the age of about 7 to be in the women’s bathroom ever!)

Disagree...he should use it more so he doesn’t say the stupid things that give Clinton ammunition. With the prompter he would never have called the judge “Mexican” all he had to do was say the judge was supporting and was a member of the anarchist group La Raza and therefore should recluse himself. That one word cost him dearly in 2 weeks of news cycle. You cannot make errors like that and win...too many low info voters who won’t research what he is saying. Use the promoter more...go Trump.

We’ve been trained for decades to only support candidates who are perfectly rehearsed speakers. Cruz was a perfectly rehearsed speech pro. In a debate society event, he could always win and get the highest score. But he was FAKE AS HELL.

Being president doesn’t require one to be a professional debater or teleprompter reader.

Speaking contemporaneously even with some flub ups is a much better thing, because you appear to be more genuine.

Oh, yes,... but the teleprompter is making the Cheap Labor Expressos much happier, don’t you know?

Ryan, Ayotte and McCain and certainly dog-on-the-roof Romney must prefer it.

This way, TRUMP makes their re-election so much easier.

SERIOUSLY, I think he is massaging his poll numbers from last week, and also working the Independents to try and increase his numbers with them, which supposedly dropped by 3, according to FOXMegyn News.

I would wince whenever I saw Cruz in action. So transparently phony and manipulative. To this day I have no idea how so many GOP voters are still hitching their wagon to his star.
