Pay 4 bucks more a month for a commercial free Hulu.
I love my ROKU too, just got the new Streaming-Stick, to go along with my ROKU3. Hulu - looks good on paper but the trouble with Hulu is their content. An example is, they have great TV shows but they may only have anywhere from 1-2 episodes of any season to maybe 20 episodes. It never seems to be the entire season of any series. I cancelled my Hulu after a couple months
Hulu just started that commercial-free-for-$15/month a few months ago.
I have looked at the programs they offer and can get most of them on cable OnDemand.
Also, the fine print on the ‘free’ version of Hulu says that they still have the right and do show commercials at the beginning and end of some of their ‘free’ version programs.
That reminds me of the selling point for cable 60 years ago — with cable, you don’t get commercials. LOLOLOLOLOL. Now 1/3 of the cable programming (excluding premium channels) is commercials.
